LangOER Project

This 3-year network (January 2014- December 2016) supported by action KA2 Languages of the Lifelong Learning Programme, European Commission addressed the issue of how less used languages, including Regional and Minority languages, can  benefit from Open Educational Practices (OEP)? How can Open Educational Resources (OER) be shaped to foster linguistic and cultural diversity in Europe? What policies are favourable to the uptake of quality OER in less used language communities?

Check out its impressive collection of resources  which includes the freely downloadable guide ‘The handbook Going Open with LangOER offering practical advice on pedagogical, methodological and technological issues about the (re-)use of open content in the classroom.
Furthermore you will find a wide range of materials (including videos, handbooks, courses, policy briefs, papers…) divided into three main stakeholders: teachers, policy makers and experts.
