The future of language education in Europe: case studies of innovative practices

‘The future of language education in Europe: case studies of innovative practices’ has been prepared for the European Commission by NESET, an advisory network of experts working on the
social dimension of education and training.
The report showcases 6 (school based) case studies illustrating innovative language teaching and learning policies and practices, placing them into the context of evolving language teaching pedagogies and policies, and highlighting the necessary shift towards a more plurilingual approach.
The recommendations for politicians and practitioners are also mentioned in this Executive Summary.
