You must follow the instructions in the assessment brief as provided by your tutor and align your work with the specific module learning outcomes. The typical structure of a QQI level 3 assignment is:

    1. A cover sheet: include your name, unique ID number, module title and and sign a declaration that your work is your own

    2. Introduction: Briefly outline the key issues that you will discuss and explain how you will answer the assignment prompt.

    3. Main body: organise the body paragraphs or subsections. You must use the headings as provided in the assessment brief to ensure you meet the marking criteria.

    4. Conclusion: summarise the findings and main points of the entire assignment in this section.

    5. Bibliography and references: at last, list the sources you used, such as books, websites and articles using a consistent referencing style.

    6. Appendices: include extra material if requested in the brief.
