I’d like to learn more about how browser-based speaker testing actually works. Many websites claim they can detect stereo imbalance, distorted audio, and speaker problems without installing any software. From what I’ve read, these tools generate test tones that allow users to compare left and right speaker performance. They seem especially useful after software updates, hardware repairs, or accidental water exposure. I appreciate that they work on both smartphones and computers because it makes troubleshooting much easier. While they obviously can’t repair damaged speakers, they appear to provide a reliable first diagnosis before attempting more advanced fixes. Has anyone researched how accurate these online tests really are compared to professional audio diagnostic equipment?
